What kind of payments do you take?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. If you’re not an owner of a credit card and would like to pay via check or money order, contact orders@subtleteez.com for info.
When’s it gonna get here already?!
Generally, 3-7 business days. However, that kind of depends on a few things:
First of all, we have to process your order, which is anywhere from 0-3 days.
Then you have to give your order time to get there, which depends on what shipping method you picked:
- First Class Mail(2-5 business days, $6)
- Priority Mail (about 2 business days, starts at $7.50)
- Express Mail (1-2 business days, starts at $24) – USPS guarantees overnight delivery to most areas, except very remote areas, if you’re concerned that your shirt won’t get to you in time, email orders@subtleteez.com and we will check for you.
In general, if you need your shirt to arrive by a certain date, email us at orders@subtleteez.com, and we’ll work with you.
I don’t live in the US. Can I still have shirts delivered to me?
Sure, why not. International Shipping is $12 to Canada & Mexico; $14 to all the other countries. Shipping time is 6-10 business days after the order is placed.
I got the wrong thing, help!
If we messed up, we’ll fix it, free of charge. If you messed up, you can make exchanges within two weeks, however you have to pay the shipping costs. Either way, there is a catch. We are not going to take some sweaty shirt back, or one that’s been washed. Be sure to let us know you’re sending the shirt back by e-mailing us first at orders@subtleteez.com, m’kay? Send packages off to:
Subtle Tee Company, LLC
POB 550988
Jacksonville, FL 32255.
I have an idea for your shirts!!
Awesome! You can submit ideas confidentially via e-mail to subtle@subtleteez.com. If we like it, we’ll buy it from you! You’ll get up to 5 free shirts and $200 per idea that we use.
How do I know what shirt’s going to fit me?
All our shirts are printed on Gildan, so use their size chart. Get a friend to help you with measurements, it’s fun. Or take our word for it that they’re standard sized shirts, your pick.

What if I want to call to place my order? Or I just want to talk to you?
We don’t take phone orders at this time, and we’re not handing out our cellphone numbers. Just, no. But you can send us emails all you want, about anything! Mail to subtle@subtleteez.com. No porn, please.
What about if I want to place my order in person, do you have a store?
We don’t wear pants when we work and we like our customers to be as unscarred as possible, so no.
Do you offer shirts wholesale?
Yes! Um. Ask Andrew. werdna@subtleteez.com
I have a random question/comment/complaint/call to arms, what do I do?!?
First, find a tall building. Then get on the roof of that building, and start shouting until someone responds. Or, if you’re lazy and like your sofa, email us. Anything related to ordering, buying, selling, burning our products goes to orders@subtleteez.com. All other queries (i.e., “You spelled ‘Subtle’ wrong!”) send over to support@subtleteez.com, and we’ll get back to you AQAP.
So, who are you people, anyway?
We keep asking ourselves that, actually. Here’s what we’ve come up with so far, though.
Subtle Tee Company (STC, duh), was formed officially in January of 2007. However, STC has been a gleam in the owners’ eyes for more than a year before that. We’re owned by two college students just like you… or not.
The concept behind STC is that we’re not just some storefront, we’re a community. Our goal is for every visitor to our site to participate in the contests forums, and promos that we have going on and interact with the other visitors. Think MySpace with less emo. We want to really become truly a people’s company, and have everything be by the people, for the people, hence things like the Caption Contest (which is awesome, now go vote). Why a CC? Because we have funny shirts (we think), but we’re not good at coming up with funny catch phrases to describe the t-shirts, but we figure you will be, and we’ll give you free stuff if you prove it. Check it out!
We always have some contests running and are always interested in more, so send those to us as well subtle@subtleteez.com. Yes, you get free stuff for that, too. Free is your friend.
Oh, right, back to us. So, STC is owned by two college students, Andrew and Irene Rush. Yes, we’re married; no, we don’t have kids; no, we’re not planning on having kids yet. We have a company and three cats, we don’t need kids. If you don’t like cats or kids, not our problem, just buy our shirts.
Andrew is labeled as the idea man. He has the ideas. Like STC! He also has ADD, a PDA, and an AA from FCCJ, working on a BA from UNF. Got all that? Did we mention he handles STC’s business affairs? Logical, really, we know. Feel free to send him games, links, anything about politics or gadgets to distract him from business some more. He’s really into cars (mostly Fords or really small fast ones). Any kind of car, really, big ones, small ones, concepts, whatever! As long as it goes fast, he’s happy. Should you feel the need to bother Andrew, email him at werdna@subtleteez.com.
Irene is the one that keeps Andrew together. She is a walking, talking PDA from Russia (don’t bother with the KGB jokes, she’s heard them all; really). She does the marketing, and a lot of the day-to-day stuff. She is a phone freak! She has a bright yellow RX-8 that goes zoom! She is obsessive about webcomics, random flash games, and used to play D&D all the time, then she got married—or something like that. She knows a lot of numbers, pretty much every number she’s ever seen, she names them George. Yes, all of them. No, she’s not a mail order bride. Bother Irene with whatever you feel like; or, if you bothered Andrew and he forgot to reply to you, which happens a lot, bother her about it, and she’ll bother him for you! Bother away at eneri@subtleteez.com.
